Working together to make Swords a better place to live

Swords Tidy Towns do not operate in isolation. We interact with other local environmental groups to share ideas, and to help out in practical ways. For example, some of our members have helped out with tree planting groups, and our recently qualified master composter, Ramune, has organised composting programmes at local schools. Major projects such as the Rock Garden, and the River Walk works would not have been possible without the support of Fingal County Council and numerous local volunteer community groups. Financial support from FCC, Dublin Airport Authority grants, and sponsorship from local businesses allow us to cover the running costs involved in the removal of litter and graffiti, and the purchases of necessary tools and equipment to tackle new projects. To find out more about our community partners, just click on the links below.
