Last Sunday, we carried out the final water testing of 2025. Ten locations were tested by our dedicated water testing team. Nitrate and phosphate levels were elevated at most locations, with the Broadmeadow River and the Estuary performing better than the River Ward. πŸŽ„A big thank you to Willie and his team at the Old Schoolhouse @schoolhouseswords for looking after us all so well today, very much appreciated. Happy Christmas one and all, see you all again in the New Year! πŸŽ„ A fantastic turn out for our last meet up of 2025! A big thank you to our wonderful young TY students who turned up to support us πŸ‘πŸ» Fantastic job by Swords Pickers this morning πŸ‘πŸ» STT on tour! Great visit to the DΓ‘il today. A massive thank you to Duncan Smith TD @duncansmithtd for organising the tour and taking such a wonderful care of us! Everyone had a wonderful time. Rudolph’s nose is shining bright thanks to Georgy's knitted magic! The other reindeers turned up in lovely scarves from an unknown elf. Georgy said they’re all set for the North Pole, and she even got a cuddle! πŸŽ…πŸ§£πŸ¦Œ Merry Christmas from all of us on the Swap Team β€” can’t wait to see you again in 2026! πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸŽ How's your birdy surveillance going? Any suspicious characters? πŸ˜…πŸ¦β€β¬›πŸ¦πŸ¦’πŸ¦‰There’s still time to join in! 🧐 #irishgardenbirdsurvey2025 Our member Ramune was shortlisted as one of only five finalists out of hundreds for the Fingal Volunteer Ireland Volunteer of the Year Award. She may not have taken home the top prize, but she will always be a winner in our eyes. We had a wonderful evening at the STT table β€” a great opportunity to meet, celebrate, and connect with fellow volunteers.
